This weekend the brothers of Pi Kappa Alpha got together after class one Friday afternoon to blow off some steam and play some mud football. Brothers and friends got down and dirty on a soaked Intramural field and made a mess of things all day. Some family tree competition ended in trip to the health center...and eventually hospital, but everyone had plenty of fun. The chapter looks forward to making this an annual event to enjoy the end of classes before finals.

Sunday, November 6, the brothers of the Zeta Sigma chapter volunteered at the Battle at the Beach lacrosse tournament to raise money for the Michael Stolzenberg Trust Fund. Michael Stolzenberg is an 11 year old boy that had all of his limbs amputated after complications arose when treating a severe allergic reaction from a bug bite. Brothers Ryan Bragan and T.J. Vellinga, two players for the Florida Tech lacrosse team asked the chapter to help staff the event that the university's varsity team was hosting. The event raised over $2,100 for Michael's trust fund. The brothers of Zeta Sigma look forward to helping FIT lacrosse host this event annually to help raise more money for Michael as he continues to grow and inspire others.

The Brothers of Zeta Sigma would like to welcome you to the Florida Tech Community. We are fortunate to be attending a campus that houses one of the most unique Greek Life systems in the southeast, and we encourage you to go through rush. Our Pike Brothers, Rush Team, and Rush Chairman are looking forward to meeting you. We are looking to assemble a large pledge class every year of men who want achieve their personal best and win. The downstairs bathroom renovation is now complete. Thanks to all of the alumni donations House Corp was able to have the entire bathroom gutted, the mold issues handled, all of the fixtures replaced, and the bathroom tiled from floor to ceiling for easy maintenance. A special thank you goes out to Kevin Menard, the newest member of house corp, who headed up this project.
